Have you been wondering what is going on with Christina Aguilera‘s pop career?
Last we heard, she was meant to drop a single called “Love Your Body” or something, right around the time that season 2 of The Voice hit screens. Obviously that never happened, but now we’ve got some solid details on Aguilera‘s comeback, courtesy of Billboard.
Her new single is apparently an as-yet-untitled Max Martin “club banger” with a chorus that’s built around the flawless line, “All I want to do is what you wanted.” Martin, best known for producing hits by Britney Spears, Kelly Clarkson and Katy Perry, among others, has yet to helm a single for Aguilera.
XTina also apparently collaborated with her Voice co-stars Cee Lo Green and Blake Shelton for her upcoming album, which is 74% guaranteed to be better than 'Bionic.'
Released through RCA Records in June 2010, 'Bionic' has sold 308,000 copies, according to Nielsen SoundScan. The set failed to produce a hit single for the singer -- its highest-charting cut, "Not Myself Tonight," peaked at No. 23 on the Hot 100.
