Lady Gaga Warns Carly Rae Jepsen: "I'm Coming for You' On Hot 100"

Hey, this is crazy: our weekly story on the latest moves on the Billboard Hot 100 has caused a Twitter war between Lady Gaga and Carly Rae Jepsen.

OK, more of a friendly ribbing from Gaga to her fellow Interscope Records artist, it seems. On Wednesday (July 25), Billboard.com reported that Jepsen's "Call Me Maybe" logged a seventh week at No. 1 on the Hot 100.

With its continued rule, "Maybe" rewrote the record for the longest reign for a song by a woman signed to Interscope. The track passed Gaga's "Born This Way," which ruled for six weeks last year. Among the story's readers, apparently?

Mother Monster herself, who then Tweeted her reaction: "@carlyraejepson (sic) I SEE you just swooped in and broke my BORN THIS WAY record of the most weeks at #1. DONT GET COMFORTABLE IM COMING FOR YOU."
