Celine Dion In Lawsuit Filed Against Former Employee

Celine Dion and her husband, Rene Angelil, are currently being sued by their former warehouse manager, Keith Sturtevant, who claims that while he worked at the couple's home in Hobe Sound, Florida, the couple "improperly and illegally designated [Sturtevant] as an exempt employee." Translation: they didn't have to pay him overtime despite the fact that he worked more than 40 hours per week on a regular basis. Furthermore, despite his manager title, he maintains he was treated as no more than a handyman, and he "did not have the power to hire or fire employees." According to the legal documents, he isn't the only employee on whom they pulled this, and he is demanding all of his back overtime wages since he started in 2009. Source

  1. Celine , you look so charming and friendly with your fan. But you treat your people who work for you terribly . You and Rene forgot where you both came from.
Wealth blind you. Even the way Rene behave in Montreal about your home being the most expensive was tasteless and no class. In USA or other Asian country ,Rene shut his mouth because he knows what you have is nothing compare to them. Many truly wealthy people out there beyond your imagination!!,,, you need to always remember where you come from and be humble. My sister met you many years ago ,she said how sweet you were as a person ,but I guess just pretending. I am very turn off with both of you .

  2. with your money you may get away With this lawsuit, but remember you create such a bad karma. All those foundation
That you both have and advertise about helping people are mean nothing!! Helping someone come from a heart and you do not need to advertise it. Kindness start from family, friend and taking care of people who work for you.
