Beyonce Does Duel-Singles And Adds “Love On Top” As Next Single

After hiding her pregnancy and then using it as a publicity stunt to plug her new album, Beyonce has continued her promo plan by making her ‘VMA baby song’ “Love On Top,” her next official single.

The Shea Taylor-produced cut will be sent to mainstream radio on September 20th, reports FMBQ. It’s also been listed in the ‘new music’ section of Mediabase’s All Access website, further confirming its status as a single.

With “Love On Top” hitting mainstream radio and the Hip-Hop throwback “Party” already in rotation on urban formats, it looks as if Beyonce will be going for the dual-single approach again.

This was most likely her plan all along, considering that she performed “Love On Top” at the VMAs, ensuring that the song would receive the absolute most publicity possible.

Amy Winehouse's father, Mitch, has set up a foundation in his daughter's honor and they're now ready to turn their grief into action.

“The launch of Amy's foundation 14th September. We will turn our grief into positive action. (sic)”

The charity would have gone live much sooner, but there were issues with the registration.

“Somebody else pinched it off of us before we could get it registered. All these donations which are coming in - we don't know what to do with them at the moment. We'll have to hold off for the time being."

The charity itself is in position to help young addicts overcome their addictions, and hopefully save lives before it's too late like Amy's.

Adele Cancels More Dates Due To Chest Infection

Due to a recurring cold and chest infection, Adele has had to postpone her shows in Cardiff and Blackpool, which were scheduled for tonight and tomorrow.

The official announcement reads:

It is with regret that due to continuing problems with a serious cold and chest infection, Adele has had to postpone her show tonight, Wednesday September 7th in Cardiff and the following date tomorrow, Thursday September 8th in Blackpool. She had cancelled her performance at The Mercury Awards last night in the hope she would be able to continue her live dates, but has been told by her doctors that she is still not well enough to perform.

The shows will be rescheduled at the earliest opportunity and all original tickets will remain valid. Refunds will be available from the point of purchase.

Adele is extremely sorry and apologizes for any inconvenience caused and looks forward to seeing you all at the rescheduled shows.

MTV VMAs Boost Adele & Beyonce On Billboard 200

Adele's "21" posts a whopping 88% sales gain, though it holds at No. 3 (154,000) thanks to the singer's performance on the Aug. 28 MTV Video Music Awards.

On the show, the DIVA sang the album's latest single, "Someone Like You," which also flies 11-1 on the Digital Songs chart with 275,000 (up 191%). She bumps "Moves Like Jagger," by Maroon 5 featuring Christina Aguilera, down 1-3 with 207,000 (down 5%). Foster the People's "Pumped Up Kicks" is sandwiched between the two, standing steady at No. 2 with 218,000 (up 12%).

Other obvious gainer thanks to the VMA show is Beyonce, who announced she was pregnant during her performance of "Love On Top." Her '4' album returns to the top 10 on the Billboard 200 with 39,000 (jumping 12-7; up 87%) and "Love" debuts at No. 10 on Digital Songs with 113,000 (up 803%).

Toni Braxton Signs New Management Deal With 'The Collective'

L.A. based entertainment/production company The Collective has signed Grammy Award-winning singer Toni Braxton for worldwide career management. The announcement follows the company's recent signing of singer/actress and Destiny's Child founding member Kelly Rowland.

Braxton stars with her sisters on the WEtv reality series "Braxton Family Values," which has been renewed for a second season. The R&B singer's most recent album was 2010's 'Pulse.'

The project, Braxton's fifth top 10 on the Billboard 200 (debuted/peaked at No. 9) and fourth No. 1 on the R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart, has sold 149,000 according to Nielsen SoundScan.

Craig Baumgarten of Santa Monica, Calif.-based Baumgarten Management & Productions, continues to represent Braxton for film and television.

A Sony division announced that a remixed version with a “completely different tempo” will serve as the version serviced to radio.

"Criminal" will act as the ‘Femme Fatale’s’ next single and the lead single for the Brit's soon-to-be-released remix album, 'B In The Mix: Volume 2' (due later this month) .

Celine Dion's Montreal Home Broken Into

Daniel Bedard, 36, was about to step into the bathtub of Celine Dion's Montreal-area residence on Monday when law officers, tipped off by the alarm system, showed up at the house with a canine unit.

"He opened the water faucets, was pouring a nice warmish bath [and] he even managed to eat some pastry that was in the 'fridge,' " Laval police spokesman Franco Di Genova told the news service.

When confronted by police inside the home, Bedard reportedly told them: "Hey, guys what are you doing here?"

Police repeated the same question back to him, then arrested and charged Bedard with breaking and entering, auto theft and causing property damage (after he jumped the fence onto the property).

And where were Dion and husband René Angélil when all this was going on? They were believed to be at their Florida residence, says AP.

Adele Talks Stage Fright: "I Puke Quite a Lot"

Adele has come clean to British Vogue about how she deals with pre-show jitters. "I puke quite a lot before going onstage, though never actually on the stage" confessed the 22-year old singer. "But then... I sh*t myself before everything... the bigger the freak-out, the more I enjoy the show!"

The "Rolling in the Deep" songstress had previously discussed her performance anxiety with Rolling Stone, via her cover story last April. Among her worst bouts included a concert in Amsterdam, where she attempted to escape the venue through a fire exit just before taking the stage.

Despite her personal inhibitions, Adele has been acclaimed for her impassioned live performances, most recently, a poignant rendition of her piano ballad, "Someone Like You" before a national television audience at the MTV Video Music Awards August 28th.

Beyonce's VMA Baby News Good For Sales Bump

Beyonce could benefit from the announcement of her pregnancy on the MTV Video Music Awards on Aug. 28.

Her most recent album, "4," might jump back into the top 10 with perhaps a 40% sales increase.

The set could sell anywhere between 30,000 and 40,000 copies by week's end on Sept. 4. Beyonce's Video Music Award performance of "Love on Top" will also likely debut on Digital Songs and Billboard Hot 100 charts.

The most recent tracking week ended on Sunday night, so the bulk of the VMA impact will be felt next week.

Other VMA performers and winners who are looking to spark some of the biggest gains in the wake of the awards' highest rated show ever include performers Adele, Young the Giant, Chris Brown and Jessie J, and winners Britney Spears and Tyler, the Creator.

Lady Gaga pulled out all the stops to become male alter ego Jo Calderone at the MTV Video Music Awards in L.A. Sunday.

The pop DIVA didn't just wear men's clothing (including Armani men's underwear) and fake stubble in her "drag king" get-up: To complete the gender-bending transformation, Gaga even wore a prosthetic penis!

The "You and I" singer stayed in character throughout the night at the Nokia Theater.

"I am from New Jersey," Gaga as Jo told Us backstage. " My family is from Palermo, Sicily and I am not a singer or a model or an actor or anything. I am just a guy."

And "Jo" had high praise for fellow pop star Britney Spears, one of the night's honorees, who rejected Jo's sexy advances onstage. "She is f***ing hot. Didn't you j*** off to Britney when you were a kid?"

Rihanna Filing Lawsuit Over Mansion Purchase

Rihanna just filed a lawsuit in L.A. County Superior Court, claiming she bought a 2-story home in Bev Hills in 2009 for $6.9 mil after the seller claimed she was not aware of any major defects with the property.

But Rihanna claims the woman was lying and knew about all sorts of problems with the home including: numerous waterproofing defects, evidence of water intrusion and other construction defects.

According to the docs, Rihanna's home was hit by a "moderate rainstorm" in January 2010, but because of the defects, water leaked into multiple rooms ... causing some serious damage.

Rihanna claims she got screwed because "the actual value of the property at the time of purchase, taking into consideration the extensive construction defects was millions of dollars less" than the price she paid for it.

Madonna's Sex book Is Most Wanted

Madonna's explicit 1992 coffee-table book Sex is the most sought after out-of-print title in the US of the past 12 months, according to BookFinder.com.

The singer's limited-edition picture book caused controversy when it was first released for its risque images and went on to be a collector's item.

The book search engine's annual report tracks the 100 most searched-for out-of-print titles.

Maroon 5's "Moves Like Jagger," featuring Christina Aguilera, struts to the top of the Billboard Hot 100, rolling 4-1 with Airplay Gainer honors for a third consecutive week. Maroon 5 lead singer Adam Levine makes chart headlines of his own, as well, thanks to a leap into the top 10 as a guest on Gym Class Heroes' "Stereo Hearts."

"Jagger" returns for a second week at No. 1 on Digital Songs (2-1) with 217,000 downloads sold (up 6%), according to Nielsen SoundScan. On Radio Songs, the collaboration darts 15-11 with 72 million all-format audience impressions (up 20%), according to Nielsen BDS.

For Aguilera, the return to the chart's apex ends an even greater hiatus. She had last ruled alongside Lil' Kim, Mya and P!nk on "Lady Marmalade" for five weeks in 2001.

"Jagger" is Aguilera's fifth Hot 100 No. 1. She banked three leaders from her self-titled debut album in 1999-2000: "Genie in a Bottle," "What a Girl Wants" and "Come On Over Baby (All I Want Is You)."

Jessie J Leads Nominees For U.K.'s MOBO Awards

Fresh off her MTV Video Music Awards performances, "Price Tag" singer Jessie J leads all nominees for Great Britain's MOBO Awards with five nominations, including Best UK Act.

Jessie J's debut single, "Do It Like a Dude," is nominated for Best Video and Best Song, following its ascent to No. 2 on the UK charts late last year. Additionally, the London-born songstress is in the running for Best Newcomer and Best Album for debut disc "Who You Are."

After running in London since its first ceremony in 1995, the MOBOs (short for "Music Of Black Origin") will be held at the SECC arena in Glasgow, Scotland on Oct. 5. R&B singer Jason DeRulo will serve as host, with Jessie J, Katy B and Alexis Jordan set to perform. A tribute to the late Amy Winehouse will also be held.

Cher has spoken before of her admiration for her son Chaz and his courage. Now, she's leaping to his defense after critics have questioned his inclusion on the upcoming season of Dancing with the Stars.

"Chaz is Being Viciously Attacked on Blogs & Message boards about being on DWTS! This is Still America right? It took guts 2 do it," Cher Tweeted on Wednesday about Chaz, who legally changed his gender and name last year.

She added: "I support him no matter what he chooses 2do! God! will there always be haters! It took COURAGE 2 do dwts! TG Chaz has an Unlimited supply."

In a series of other Tweets, Cher urged her fans to support Chaz, and predicted that he could do well on the show, even though might not be a natural dancer. "Bet VAST MAJORITY of People will LOVE CHAZ on DWTS ... Chaz isn't exactly the 'Gotta Dance Gotta Dance' kinda Guy," she wrote.
