Rihanna Reveals 'Loud' Album Title & 'Only Girl' Single

Rihanna unveiled her new single "Only Girl (In the World)" on Ryan Seacrest's radio show Tuesday morning (Sept. 7), shortly after announcing the title of her fifth studio album, "Loud," on her official fansite.

"Yes it is called LOUD," Rihanna told fans during a live chat. "Get LOUD everybody. Get crazy. Get excited. Cuz I'm pumped. I'm just gonna be ME."

"Only Girl (In the World)" aims squarely for dancefloor domination, as the pop star pours her heart out to one man over a full-throttle production by Norwegian hitmaking duo, Stargate.

"Want you to make me feel/Like I'm the only girl in the world," Rihanna belts on the chorus. "Like I'm the only one that you'll ever love/Like I'm the only one who knows your heart."

Stargate is also responsible previous Rihanna singles "Please Don't Stop the Music," "Hate That I Love You" and her most recent No. 1 hit, "Rude Boy."

If "Only Girl" is any indication, Rihanna's "Loud" will be a departure from the edgier fare of her last album, 2009's "Rated R," which has sold 975,000 copies, according to Nielsen SoundScan.

In a recent interview with Billboard.com, Alex Da Kid -- the producer/songwriter behind Eminem's current No. 1 "Love the Way You Lie," which features Rihanna -- said the pop star's new material is "like a mixture of her two sides. It's commercial, but at the same time it's got an edge to it -- it has substance."

Rihanna echoed that sentiment during her chat with fans. "I'm gonna miss the Rated R era too, but NOTHING compares to the album I just made," the singer said, adding, "I wanted the next step in the evolution of Rihanna, and it's perfect for us."

Cheryl Cole Covers British Vogue Magazine

Cheryl Cole opened up to British Vogue about her divorce from soccer player Ashley Cole and it seems like she's doing really well!

On feeling betrayed by Ashley:

"Yes definitely I do. But I've got to take everything that's happened and learn from it. I've just got to be grateful that I've got so many good things going on. I have. And there's no children you know? Some people's lives fall apart. Of course, it's heartbreaking, but it's not anything remotely like it could have been and I'm very, very grateful for that."

On having children someday:

"That's definitely something I want to achieve. It's the toughest job in the world - but I know it must be the most rewarding too. I'm ready now. I'm 27. I'm a woman, not a girl any more. Thinking about yourself constantly isn't so healthy.

"I suppose that's the point of having children, isn't it? Being able to live your life through them instead of you, having them be your motivation? That's the 'right' thing, I'm thinking - when you love someone more than you love yourself. That's what I think about my mum."

On dealing with her demons:

"Night time, that's when my brain starts ticking over. I'm frightened of my mind at night. I find myself racing, racing, racing. Sometimes I wake up and think, 'What was that about?' It's so vivid. [But] I've got a lot of mental discipline. Even if I'm knackered I keep myself going no matter what."

Kanye West Writes Taylor Swift A Song

No more interruptions: When Kanye West and Taylor Swift meet again at the MTV VMA Awards Sept. 12, he has a special gift for the singer – hopefully, she will let him finish.

"I wrote a song for Taylor Swift that's so beautiful and I want her to have it," he said on his Twitter Saturday morning. "If she won't take it then I'll perform it for her."

Perhaps a sly nod to her pop anthem, "You're Not Sorry," which was released on her 2008 album Fearless?

Nearly a year since he first apologized to Swift, the hip-hop artist is still offering up I'm sorries, calling her "justa lil girl with dreams like the rest of us" on his Twitter.

"She deserves the apology more than anyone," he Tweeted. "We're both artist[s] and the media and managers are trying to get between us. Everyone wants to capitalize off this [in] some way."

Beyonce Currently In The Studio With Ne-Yo

Beyonce is currently in the studio working on her new album with Ne-Yo, who shed some light on the material we can expect from the superstar.

So how is this new collaboration with Beyonce coming along?

Ne-Yo: "It’s along nicely. I can’t too much on it, but it’s another direction for her, and she’s carving out her own niche. In a minute nobody will be in Beyonce’s lane.

"They really can’t get in her lane now, but they really can’t get in her lane after this album."

(Note: Ne-Yo collaborated with Beyonce in 2006 for her “B’day” CD. He helped pen “Irreplaceable,” which became one of Beyonce’s biggest hits).

No Wedding Bells for Britney Spears And Jason Trawick

In addition to soaking up the sun with boyfriend Jason Trawick during their recent Hawaiian getaway, Britney Spears toured a wedding chapel at Maui's Grand Wailea resort on Thursday and, two days later, teared up while watching a wedding below their hotel room balcony.

While the couple, who've been dating for more than a year, are going strong, they don't have any immediate plans to tie the knot just yet.

"They're really taking things day by day and really enjoying their time," says the source, adding that Spears, who turns 29 in December, and Trawick, 38, "of course" talk about the future.

Another source credits the couple's relationship for helping the singer, who was previously married to Kevin Federline, to mature.

Trawick, who was previously Spears's agent, "really cares for her, deeply cares for the kids and loves her," says the second source.

Spice Girls Musical In Pre-Production

Details about the upcoming Spice Girls’ musical, Viva Forever, have just been released.

The forthcoming project - titled 'Viva Forever' - will use the girl group's music, but "won't be a tribute or bio show" of the "Wannabe" hitmakers, instead analysing the fickleness of modern fame in the era of instant celebrity - which the Spice Girls predate.

Producer Judy Craymer said: "We live in a world dominated by people wanting to be famous. What the Spice Girls did was before those shows became really what they are, and before the world become slightly obsessed by such shows.

"'Viva Forever' will encompass the Spice Girls ethos of friendship, identity and being true to yourself, it won't be a tribute or bio show, nor will it feature characters with any of the names of the famous five piece."

The show will be written and produced by Judy - who was behind the stage adaptation of musical 'Mamma Mia!' - with comedian Jennifer Saunders. Although it analyses fame, Judy said it would, however, still include more light hearted elements.

The Spice Girls - Mel B, Victoria Beckham, Emma Bunton, Mel C and Geri Halliwell all met late last year to discuss the musical and Mel B, 34, has revealed how pleased they are to be working with Judy on the project.

Eminem And Rihanna Still No. 1 On Billboard's Hot 100

While Eminem loses his No. 1 standing on the Billboard 200, he remains perched atop the Billboard Hot 100 for a seventh week with "Love the Way You Lie," featuring Rihanna.

The song tops Radio Songs for a fourth frame, improving to 159 million listener impressions (up 3%), according to Nielsen BDS, while downloads sales slip 12%, according to Nielsen SoundScan, though the track rebounds 3-2 on Digital Songs.

Katy Perry
becomes the latest threat to end Eminem and Rihanna's stay at No. 1, as "Teenage Dream" takes both the Airplay and Digital Gainer awards with a jump from 3-2.

A bump in download sales (259,000, up 24%) gives the singer her third chart-topper on Digital Songs, while an 11-7 bounce on Radio Songs (84.3 million, up 30%) ups her top 10 tally on that list to five.

Céline Dion's Pregnancy NOT In Jeopardy

Céline Dion and her on-the-way twins are all right despite recent rumors that have hit the internet.

Reports in both the U.S. and European press sprung up last night claiming that the expectant Dion was hospitalized and forced to undergo emergency surgery last week after a pregnancy-jeopardizing health scare. But don't believe it.

Dion's rep told E! News that the reports are "fabricated" and "100 percent not true."

"She's happy and healthy and never had a procedure."

So what about those reports? The story went, the Canadian chanteuse, who has been quite public about her struggle to both become and maintain her pregnancy, was rushed to an unnamed hospital in Miami last Saturday.

Dion, currently six months along, supposedly underwent a procedure known as cervical cerclage, in which doctors either tighten or completely close the cervix in order to prevent its premature dilating and thus an early delivery.

Terrifying at the best of times. Disturbingly traumatizing and inaccurate at the worst. This time it's the latter. Dion remains on pace to deliver her bundles of joy later this year.

Kylie Minogue Performs With Rufus At 'The Last Song of Summer' Concert

Kylie Minogue took to the stage in New York this weekend as the special guest of Rufus Wainwright at The Last Song of Summer Concert at The Watermill Center in the Hamptons.

Dressed in a striking Dolce & Gabbana leopard-print dress, Kylie joined Rufus for a number of duets including "Can’t Get You Out of My Head," "Over the Rainbow" and Leonard Cohen’s "Hallelujah."

Much to the delight of fans, Kylie pulled out a 7″ copy of her 1988 debut American smash hit "The Loco-motion" and joked about her ’80s stylings before launching into a show-stopping rendition of the iconic song with Wainwright.

Speaking to the Wall Street Journal before her performance with Rufus, Kylie said: “I’m a great admirer of his work and was thrilled when he came to see my concert at the Hammerstein Ballroom in NYC last year.

"I absolutely adore doing these types of one-off gigs. To share these moments with fellow artists, to be able to go ‘off-piste’ and perform different songs and different styles is like food for the creative soul.”

The Last Song of Summer Concert benefits The Windmill Center, founded by Robert Wilson, which supports emerging artists and creatives.

Rihanna Goes Brunette For “Battleship” Movie

Rihanna was seen yesterday on set of 'Battleship' with brown sexy hair, camouflage clothes and fake tattoos on her right arm in Hawaii. On her clothes we spot “US Navy” and the name “Raikes”.

Alexander Skarsgard believes ‘Battleship’ will be “quite different” to the board game.

The ‘True Blood’ actor confesses there is little connection between the game and the film, which also stars pop star Rihanna in her debut movie performance, but he admits he is looking forward to shooting it.

“It’s quite different from the board game. I don’t really think about that very much. Pete is a great guy – the director, Peter Berg – and I’m just excited to start it, I really am.”
