Is Britney Spears next to be "Gleeked" out? While there's no word if the pop princess herself will appear on the hit show, "Glee" creator/writer Ryan Murphy stated that the show is currently in the middle of writing a Spears episode.
"We are writing a Britney Spears episode," Ryan Murphy, creator of the hit musical comedy TV show, told celebrity news show Entertainment Tonight.
It was not clear whether Spears, 28, the biggest pop music phenomenon of the early 2000s with hits like "Oops!...I Did It Again" and "Piece of Me," would also appear in the episode planned for the new season which starts in the fall.
The hit show, earning 19 Emmy noms Thursday, will also air a big tribute episode after next year's Super Bowl, but Murphy didn't reveal which star it will be based on, only hinting that we were "close" by guessing Michael Jackson.
