Move Over "Sasha Fierce"... "Lola" Is Here!!!

While we all know her as J.Lo, Jennifer Lopez might soon be known as Lola with the release of her upcoming, yet-untitled album.

The song "Fresh Out the Oven" — which is speculated to be the lead single and features rapper Pitbull — hit the Web TODAY, along with an online promotional campaign introducing Lopez's Lola alter ego.

"Now don't tell me that you love me to get with this/ You say you stay forever/ But it don't make sense,"
she sings during the Neptunes-produced song's first verse.

In September, MTV Tr3s spoke to Pitbull about his collaboration with Lopez. "Definitely something very, very sexy," Pit described of the track. "Produced by Pharrell, look out for it. It's kind of like eyes wide shut." He also confirmed that the video for the song has already been shot.

A Web site and Twitter account were launched introducing Lola. With the tagline "Who Is Lola?," the site includes a video of a woman, presumably Lopez, dancing seductively against a flickering black-and-white backdrop.

The clip also features a snippet of "Fresh Out the Oven." Various thumbnails with ruby-red lips line the bottom of the site, where additional clips will be released. The singer's last studio album, Brave, was released in 2007.

Lopez is in talks to appear on "Saturday Night Live" as the host and musical guest. In a recent interview with TheDeadbolt.com, "SNL" castmember Kenan Thompson revealed that Lopez will be appearing on the late-night sketch show's 35th season.

Madonna Leads With #1 Chart Debut Week In Canada

Seven new albums crashed the top 10 this week in Canada, topped by Madonna at No. 1.

Her double-disc hits collection, "Celebration," came in on top with 17,000 in sales, according to figures compiled by Nielsen SoundScan.

Five more premieres crowded the second to sixth slots: Barbra Streisand's "Love Is the Answer" (13,000) landed at No. 2, Paramore's "Brand New Eyes" (12,000) at No. 3, Alice in Chains' "Black Gives Away to Blue" at No. 4, Mariah Carey's "Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel" at No. 5, and the French compilation "Generation Passe-Partout" at No. 6.

The slew of debuts sent Three Days Grace's "Life Starts Now" down five positions to No. 7, and Pearl Jam's "Backspacer" sank from No. 1 to No. 8.

The last top 10 entry of the week went to Jann Arden's "Free" at No. 9, while the Black Eyed Peas' "The E.N.D. (Energy Never Dies)" went from No. 5 to No. 10.

In the U.S., Barbra Streisand entered in first, followed by Paramore in second, Mariah Carey in third, Breaking Benjamin's "Dear Agony" in fourth, and Alice in Chains in fifth.

Mya Gets An Early Surprise Birthday Bash!

Friends threw our Dancing With the Stars pal Mya, an early surprise party for her 30th last night at L.A. hot spot Coco De Ville. (The actual big day is Oct. 10.)

"We were just having dinner at STK and we came over and it was, 'Happy Birthday!'" Mya said. "There were balloons everywhere and some old acquaintances that I hadn't been in touch with in a while."

Cheryl Burke, Kym Johnson, Anna Demidova, Chuck Lidell and Mya's Dancing partner, Dmitry Chaplin, were there, along with Lance Bass, Brittany Snow and celebrity DJ Tracy Young.

The B-day bash wasn't the only surprise for Mya last night. She said she didn't expect Debi Mazar and Maksim Chmerkovskiy to be voted off DWTS earlier in the evening during this week's results show.

"Their relationship is like a love-hate relationship," she said. "There's so entertaining to watch…It's a little disappointing because I love their chemistry and I wanted to see more."

At about midnight, Mya's hit song "Ghetto Superstar" was blasted in the club as she was given sparklers and everyone was treated to cups of ice cream cake from Cold Stone Creamery.

Jennifer Hudson Televised Going Home Christmas Special

The former “American Idol”-turned-Oscar-and-Grammy winner will host the holiday music special, “Jennifer Hudson: I’ll Be Home For Christmas” in December on the network, Access Hollywood has learned.

The one-hour special, which will take place in Hudson’s hometown of Chicago, will follow the star as she “relives her childhood Christmases with musical performances shot on location at the small neighborhood church where she brought the congregation to its feet week after week; the music academy where she studied; and other Chicago sites,” ABC said in a press release.

Hudson will also visit with family and “childhood friends and others whose influences have been instrumental in her rise from humble beginnings to Hollywood stardom.”

Jennifer, so far, has refused to talk about the murders of her mother, brother and nephew last year (the one year anniversary of those horrific murders are coming up). But, she’ll be re-visiting childhood memories for a TV special?

The special should be filled with some very emotional moments, beyond Jennifer’s goose-bump inducing vocals.

Guy Ritchie Calls Madonna "Retarded"!

Guy Ritchie is clearly trying to get himself some much needed attention/promotion for bringing up Madonna in a recent interview for Esquire Magazine.

He starts off with some much deserved praise for his ex stating: "Madonna makes things happen. Put Madonna up against any twenty-three-year-old, she'll outwork them, out-dance them, outperform them. The woman is broad."

Of course tides turn when he also says: "I still love her. But she's retarded, too."

Ouch! That's a little harsh there Guy! I'm sure Madonna has a few choice words for you as well!

Barbra Streisand Reigns #1 After All!!!

The unstoppable—and, as it turns out, untoppable—Barbra Streisand surprisingly beat out both Mariah Carey and vampire (and bookmakers') favorite Paramore to top the Billboard album charts this week.

Babs' Love Is the Answer silenced both Paramore's Brand New Eyes and Mariah's Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel, marking the singer-actor-director-personal doll shop proprietor's ninth No. 1 on the charts.

But just barely...

Streisand's album sold 180,000 to Paramore's 175,000. Carey was a close and respectable third with 168,000 copies.

As for how exactly Streisand pipped Paramore to the post, let's just say tweens hath no buying power like stay-at-home QVC watchers.

Here's the complete Top 10:

1. Love Is the Answer, Barbra Streisand
2. Brand New Eyes, Paramore
3. Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel, Mariah Carey
4. Dear Agony, Breaking Benjamin
5. Black Gives Way to Blue, Alice in Chains
6. The Blueprint 3, Jay-Z
7. Celebration, Madonna
8. Revolution, Miranda Lambert
9. Kiss and Tell, Selena Gomez and the Scene
10. Backspacer, Pearl Jam

Beyonce Finally Speaks Out About Kanye Antics At The VMA's

Beyoncé was the inspiration behind Kanye West's now-infamous onstage antics at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards, but the "Single Ladies" singer had avoided making any comment on the matter until last Friday.

"Well, I knew his intentions, and I knew he was standing up for art; and he told me before, when they said the nominees, he's like, 'You have this award,'" Beyoncé told O: The Oprah Magazine editor Gayle King after accepting her award.

"And when they didn't call my name he was, like, completely shocked. And when he walked on the stage, I was like, 'No, no, no!' and then he spoke, and I was like, 'Oh, no, no, no!

"But in the end, it ended up being a great night, and Taylor Swift did get her moment — and I didn't have to make an acceptance speech."

Mariah To Release Memoirs Remix Album!

Fans who picked up Mariah Carey's latest Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel most likely noticed the absence of features, but the singer is about to make up for it.

Tricky Stewart and Trey Songz spill details exclusively to Rap-Up.com on Carey's top-secret remix album.

Details are slowly emerging about the project, which will include remixes to every song on Memoirs. "There's gonna be remixes to everything," says Tricky. "I'm actually doing some remixing myself currently 'cause some of these records were so much fun to make. It's easy to go in and do a remix."

The mega-producer already has something in mind for the diva's Foreigner cover. "I'm gonna do a remix to 'I Want to Know What Love Is' myself. I'mma raise the tempo up. I'ma try to make it into something else."

He may even add a guest to it. "Once I get the beat and if it calls for the right person, I can get anybody on the phone I want to right now, so I will be using my Rolodex for that."

One of the featured artists on the new project will be Trey Songz, who exclusively discloses to Rap-Up.com that he recorded a remix to one of Memoirs' cuts last month. "Mariah Carey, I believe she's doing a remix album and I'm on a record entitled 'Inseparable,'" he shares.

Trey put everything aside once he got the call. "I actually only had a day to do it. I did it on my day off. [They were] very professional, very adamant on wanting to get it done. They made sure we had all we needed. I just went in and got it done."

You Could Be Sitting Next to Mariah Carey!

You may not even know it but you could possibly be standing right next to Mariah Carey!

"I go for walks in a semi-disguise. That's fun to me," Carey, who plays a dowdy welfare case worker in Precious tells AOL's Popeater. "I like to go to public places and do things that I would never get a chance to do. The other night, I went out wearing all Nick's clothes."

But it's not a foolproof disguise – especially when she's hanging out with her hubby.

"The thing is, if they recognize him, they're going to [recognize me]," she says. "If he's holding someone's hand and walking with them, they're going to look and go, 'Who is he with?' "

But the fact that she has someone's hand to hold is still something she sees as a miracle. The two married in May 2008.

"I guess I almost didn't believe in it," she says. "I didn't really trust people. I didn't really trust what it would be like to be in a relationship again because I'd been, you know … So many times it had been disappointing. But the situation with Nick is totally different because we're very similar."

One thing they apparently have in common: a love of the Bible.

"I have been reading that Bible pretty much every night for years, and I learned a lot," she says. "Now I have to figure out, okay, what's my next Bible? ... I'm not a religious fanatic. It's just … I do feel calmer when I read even just a little bit of the Bible and go to sleep."

Madonna Wins Court Fight Over Stolen Wedding Photos

Madonna has accepted "substantial" damages from a British newspaper that published private photos of her wedding to movie director Guy Ritchie.

The Mail on Sunday used the series of shots, which had been kept in the couple's wedding album, shortly after they confirmed they would split last year.

Madonna, 51, had asked for $8 million in damages, the Associated Press reports, and a settlement was announced Tuesday.

The Mail on Sunday's owners, Associated Newspapers, will pay the undisclosed damages and Madonna's lawyer, John Kelly, said the proceeds will be donated to the singer's Raising Malawi charity.

Kelly told the court that an interior designer, who was working at Madonna's Beverly Hills home, copied at least 27 photos from the December 2000 wedding album. Another woman offered them to the newspaper, which eventually bought the set for a reported $7,500 following the couple's divorce announcement in October 2008.

A lawyer representing the Mail on Sunday apologized to Madonna for invading her privacy and infringing her copyright.
