Britney Spears Brand New Single To Premiere Soon!
According to Britney Spears official Australian fansite GimmeBritney.com, Britney Spears brand new single will hit radio stations in Australia and around the world on September 21st!No other information has been revealed yet, but the song is believed to be the lead single from Britney's upcoming compilation album The Singles Collection, which hits Australian stores November 13th, and November 17th for America according to MTV.
Fernando Garibay and Max Martin have both been confirmed as producers for the new compilation.

Whitney Houston's Music Video Premiere Dates
Whitney Houston will be premiering not one, but two new videos in the coming weeks.The video for "I Look To You" is set to debut September 12th. While the video for her hot new uptempo track "Million Dollar Bill" will be unveiled on September 16th.
In related Whitney news, it has been confirmed that she will be performing "I Didn't Know My Own Strength" on the Oprah Winfrey Show, at the personal request of Oprah herself.
A televised special is being considered by Whitney's team for later this year as well.

Oprah's BIG Season Premiere Week!
As well as the much hyped two-day Whitney Houston interview, it has today been confirmed that talk-show queen, Oprah, will dedicate an entire show to the late, great King of Pop Michael Jackson on September 16th. Mariah Carey will also be taping an episode of the show this month (September 18th).
The Friday show will broadcast live from New York and will also feature Regis Philbin and Kelly Ripa.

Whitney Houston's new comeback album I Look to You will debut at #1, with a sales figure of 250 to 275 thousands copies of her new album.With return sales and chart entry like that, Houston won't need to apologize to her fans, although she did find herself asking for forgiveness from the 5,000 concert-goers at Central Park's Rumsey Playfield on Tuesday for overusing her famous pipes.

Kelly Rowland Album Update
In a recent interview with Spanish magazine, MUST Mag, Kelly Rowland revealed a few details about her yet untitled 3rd solo album:Kelly has been working on her new album with Jim Jonsin (Lil Wayne - "Lollipop," Beyonce - "Radio," "Sweet Dreams," Pitbull) she says he has a very good understanding of dance music and understands where she wants to go with her music
She has also worked with Rico Love (Michelle Williams - Unexpected, Beyoncé) and Rob Allen (Rihanna - "Disturbia").
Kelly definitely wants to tour with the next album and is making sure that is one of her priorities and that her next album will be a success!
Miss Rowland has also had her eyes on doing more movies and recently went to a few castings. She is also currently producing a television program and is intending to launch a line of luggage.
Kelly is currently in the studio working on her next album, although she has NOT signed with a new record label yet.

Madonna NOT Taking Part In 2010's Marathon Des Sables
The rumors began this morning, but Madonna has quickly denied reports that claim the pop diva will run in Marathon des Sables next year.Tabloid reports had earlier suggested that the 51-year-old hitmaker was under a strict training schedule for the six-day rigorous run across the Sahara Desert.
However, Madonna's aide Liz Rosenberg has rubbished the rumours. Contact Music quoted her saying: "It's not true."
Dubbed as the toughest race on the planet, the 156 miles long trek is organized every spring and is the equivalent of six marathons.

Christina Aguilera Talks Search For New Electro Sound
By now Christina Aguilera fans are well aware of the direction the vocal superpower is heading for her next album.Rolling Stone recently reported, the singer has recruited a list of collaborators with electro-pop cred that includes M.I.A., Santigold, Sia, Goldfrapp, Le Tigre and Ladytron.
Aguilera sheds a little light on when she caught the electro bug in her new Christina Aguilera: An E! Entertainment Special, which airs TODAY (Wednesday, September 2nd at 9 p.m. ET).
It features footage of the singer working in her home studio. Revealing that after her son Max was born she gravitated to the “futuristic sound” of acts like Zero 7, as Sia puts it, “She said I’m kind of interested in stepping into your world.”

Jewish Community Furious With Aubrey O'Day's Comments
The Jewish community expressed their strong distaste for Aubrey O'Day and her ridiculous comments she made during her Fox News interview yesterday calling Hitler and Fidel Castro "brilliant" men.Rabbi Chaim Cunin of Chabad House released the following statement:
"When a woman like her uses public airwaves, with access to millions of wonderful citizens of America, and calls some of the most despicable, unspeakable hate mongers of history brilliant, then something is lacking with her intelligence.
"This is a constant reminder of how careful we need to be when we talk about hate, because hatred is always present. We need to make sure we are careful and that hatred doesn't rear it's ugly head.
"I'd like for her to think about some older Holocaust survivor having that comment beamed into their home while they are enjoying the freedom that this beautiful country provides and having to listen to her disgusting comments."

Madonna Almost Collapse During S&S Show In Bulgaria?
Reports and bloggers are saying Madonna almost "collapsed" during her Sticky & Sweet Tour In Sofia, Bulgaria, over the weekend. (Go to the 1:00 min. mark).
If you watch the video after the jump however, you will see that it is simply part of the act as Madonna puts on her acting skills portraying a MJ fan fainting while the "MJ look-a-like" throws down the moves.
As you can see from this angle, it was staged!
Gloria Estefan Gets A Special Present For Her Birthday!
Gloria Estefan's "Mi Tierra" was transmitted Tuesday morning up to the Discovery space shuttle from NASA's ground control.The song was radioed to outer space for Mexican American Discovery crew member, flight engineer Jose Hernandez.
NASA also used the opportunity to honor Miz Estefan on her birthday. Gloria turned 52 yesterday!
Although her music is now being played in outer space, she said her dream is to sing “in a free Cuba.”. Time will tell when she will finally get to celebrate a birthday on her beloved island.

Will M.J. Lure Madonna To The VMAs?
The Net has been abuzz for a bit that Madonna will make an appearance at the Video Music Awards in New York next weekend.Even though the queen's rep shot down that possibility last week, we hear MTV isn't ready to give up. So how might they entice Madge to hop onboard the very hyped show this year? By dangling the M.J. card, obviously.
We hear the VMAs are going to have a "big" Michael Jackson component, and execs are dying for Madonna to pay tribute to the King of Pop, because really, who else can?
So if Her Madgesty is a deal sealer for you to tune into the VMAs, we're told it very much could happen. She'll have wrapped the second leg of her Sticky & Sweet Tour, and on top of her love for M.J., Madonna coincidentally has her new single, "Celebration," to promote.
When it comes right down to it, every publicity appearance is calculated for someone of her stature, capisce? Plus, we're sure she'll be in the NYC neighborhood since that's where her love nest is with "love of her life" Jesus Luz.

Destiny's Child To Reunite In 2010?!
According to Michelle Williams, R&B trio Destiny's Child are set to reunite in 2010!!! The sexy trio - consisting of Beyonce Knowles, Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams, are planning to get back together in 2010.
Michelle told Britain's News of the World newspaper: "It definitely will happen. We're sisters, we love each other and we want to work on the future of Destiny's Child."
The "Survivor" hitmakers split in 2005 to pursue solo careers.
Rumours they were reforming began circulating earlier this month, when it was revealed they were contractually obliged to produce another album.
A source said: "They still have another album they owe their label, Columbia Records, on their contract."
The trio will reportedly head back into the studio to record their new album when singer Beyonce finishes her current tour to promote her latest solo album I Am Sasha Fierce.

News About Britney Spears "Single Collection"
Sony Music Australia have revised their original release date of The Singles Collection to Friday November 13th 2009.Also more details have been sent through about the new release. There will be a double disc with a collection of songs from Britney Spears' entire career spanning 10 years.
We’re also hearing that there will be “at least” 4 new songs, including a single that will be released sometime in October. There is no word yet on what this single is, or when it will be sent to radio.
A Multi-CD box will also be released containing special limited edition reprints of every Britney Australian released single in a “treasure chest” style box.
This single collection is reportedly ONLY for Australia, but MTV also reported about it earlier this month in the U.S.

Pussycat Dolls Taking A Break After The Tour Is Over
According to Pussycat Dolls member, Kimberly Wyatt, the future of the girl group is uncertain as of now, but they are taking a break right after this tour is over to focus on their own careers and lives."We're all kind of taking some time to think about ourselves and just relax for a second and I think that we're just kind of figuring out what is the next step for the Pussycat Dolls. I don't know the answer yet," said the blonde bombshell.
"Once we have been on the road together for years at a time, we do come to a point - as soon as we land, we go our separate ways for a while," she said. "Then we always talk through text and we always catch up with what each is doing.
"Twitter has been great to us, Facebook, all of these things. Then we creep back into each other's lives and we'll have dinner and hang out girls' nights, or go out, whatever we need to do to be friends."
Kimberly added: "We live a sisterhood, a close knit little bubble that we're stuck in, so instead of it being about business and performing and travelling the world, it's like, 'OK, well what about us as people?'."

Leona Lewis New Single To Premiere This Sunday
After months of speculation, Leona Lewis' first single has been confirmed to be a song called "Happy."A couple of days ago, American Idol host, Ryan Seacrest, confirmed on his radio show that the single would be premiering this month and that it's a "number one hit, no doubt."
The single will be premiering on the UK's biggest radio station, Radio 1, on it's daily chart show on Sunday, September 6th.
The song was written by Evan "Kidd" Bogart (JoJo, Rihanna, Ke$ha) and produced by Ryan Tedder (Jordin Sparks, Leona).
It will serve as the lead single from Leona's new album Echo which will be released on November 17th. Besides that, Leona Lewis will be performing in the VH1 Divas show on September 17th at 9pm on VH1.

Shania Twain 'Having The Best Time' As Idol Guest Judge
Just days after opening up about her relationship with Frédéric Thiébaud, Shania Twain is also getting cozy — professionally-speaking — with Simon Cowell during her stint as a guest judge for American Idol’s Chicago auditions.“She’s loving American Idol. She’s having the best time,” says a source close to the singer, who is filling Paula Abdul’s vacant seat during auditions Monday and Tuesday in the Windy City. “She and Simon have a really great rapport with each other. They’re funny together.”
Cowell isn’t the only one having fun with Twain, 44. “The crew loved working with her,” says an Idol source. “Everyone thought she was a great addition to the judges’ table. She showed up in good spirits and had a lot of fun. She was clearly really excited to be a part of the day.”
Twain’s stint on the talent search capped an unusually public week for the typically private singer, who last week finally opened up about her relationship with Thiébaud. “She’s the happiest I’ve seen her in years. I know [he] has a lot to do with it,” says the Twain source, adding, “She’s really pleased to be in the public eye again.”
After finishing her Idol judging Tuesday, Twain will head home to Switzerland, where her son Eja, 8, is in school. Says the Twain source, “She’ll continue writing songs and enjoying life.”
