Britney: "I'm Learning To Relax And Not Take Things So Seriously"
Britney Spears is learning to relax more and not take things so seriously.The singer - who suffered a highly-publicized breakdown in 2008 - says in an interview with Britain’s More! magazine that she’s finally getting her life back on track.
"I feel positive, I feel much happier, and things are looking good again," she said. "I'm learing to relax more and take everything in my stride, and to not place so much pressure on myself."
"I'm learning to take better care of myself," she added, "and not get stress or down about things for nothing. I'm taking my time these days and not letting myself feel any pressure other than to just feel happy and to work on my music."
Asked how she currently feels about her life, the 27-year-old said, "There are so many things that I am grateful for. I just want to make the most of this time in my life and build from there. It's a good feeling."
Spears is currently in London for the UK leg of her Circus world tour.

Pharrell has placed his Midas touch on records for a who’s who of DIVAS including Mariah Carey, Janet Jackson, and Beyoncé. Now Skateboard P is giving Rihanna the golden treatment.“I’m going in with Rihanna,” The Neptunes frontman told Billboard in a recent interview. This is the first time the two have collaborated together.
Rihanna was seen dancing onstage at a N.E.R.D. show in April.
In addition to the pop princess, the producer-turned-singer has been in the studio with Shakira, Usher, Incubus, and Sara Bareilles. He’s also finishing up N.E.R.D.’s fourth album.

"Tell All" Book Reveals Britney Was On Prozac As A Teenager!
Britney Spears had stunning looks, bags of talent, a multi-million dollar fortune and worldwide fame. But away from the cameras she was a nervous wreck and had been prescribed Prozac (used for depression and panic attacks) at the age of 18, according to a new book about the pop star.
During the European leg of her Oops! I Did It Again tour in the winter of 2000, she began having “massive anxieties” in the middle of the night.
A source close to her says: “She had trouble sleeping and crying fits. She was restless and agitated. Nights were the only times she was alone and she struggled with that… When nothing was happening, it drove her crazy. Only exhaustion would knock her out.”
Such anxiety was not drug-induced. This was Britney’s natural state, but heightened by fame. Her moods started to swing noticeably, high and happy one minute, sad and brooding the next.
She took a pill only on the days she awoke depressed which increasingly worsened her mental state as the medication should be taken on a daily basis.

Nelly Furtado To Release Spanish Album
Singer songwriter Nelly Furtado is set to release her first album recorded entirely in Spanish, according to US music magazine Billboard.The star has already been heard singing in Spanish on duets with Colombian rock star Juanes, and on her 2006 Latin American single, "No Hay Igual."
The 30-year-old is best known in the UK for Timbaland-produced hits such as "Promiscuous" and "Maneater."
She has also announced a Portuguese language album via her Myspace blog.
Last year, she secretly married her boyfriend, sound engineer Demacio Castellon.

Britney's Crib Going For Cut-Rate Price!
Despite having quietly shopped around her Italian Renaissance-inspired villa for the better part of a year, Britney Spears has yet to unload the six-bedroom, six-bath, 7,500-square-foot estate in the gated celeb-heavy Summit neighborhood.Spears purchased the home for $7.1 million back in December 2007. Since then, the place started picking up bad juju as ground zero for her infamous gurney-strapped ambulance ride in early 2008.
The singer, who is currently touring the U.K. with her Circus act, dropped the sale price of her home to a measly $6.5 million on Tuesday, the lowest ever asked for the property.
When it was first officially placed on the market by Sotheby's Realty back in September 2008, it was priced at $7.9 million.
And while Spears has yet to unload her old digs, it's hardly kept her from moving on up. She's currently leasing an even larger 10,300-square-foot home in Calabasas.

Whitney Houston IS BACK And Announces Album Release Date!!!
After a seven-year hiatus, Whitney Houston's much anticipated 'comeback' album has finally been given a solid release date. Houston's seventh studio album – rumored to be titled Undefeated, is set to hit stores on September 1st via Clive Davis' J Records / Arista, according to the legend's newly revamped official website.
Word has it the record's first single "I Didn't Know My Strength," which was penned by Diane Warren, is set to premiere very, very soon (sources say within the next few weeks).
Ne-Yo, R. Kelly, and Swizz Beats are among the writers / producers slated to feature on the LP.
Photographer Patrick Demarchelier recently worked with the singer for some promotional shots and called the day "fantastic." "She was so full of life and energy. She moved well and was in such great spirits," he said.
Houston has sold more than 170 million singles, albums and videos worldwide and is cited by the Guiness Book of World Records as music's "most awarded female artist of all time" with a tally of 411 awards, including six Grammys and two Emmys.

Angelina Jolie nabbed the No. 1 spot on Forbes' 2009 Celebrity 100 list, the magazine announced Wednesday, topping Oprah Winfrey who slipped to No. 2 after two consecutive years at the top.According to the magazine, wealth is only one factor in determining the most powerful celebrity, and Jolie's $27 million in earnings last year combined with her fame determined her ranking. (Interestingly, Winfrey grossed $275 million in 2008.)
Rounding out the top 5 positions in Forbes' rankings: Madonna, whose Sticky & Sweet tour and $110 million income landed her the No. 3 slot; Beyoncé is No. 4; and Tiger Woods fell to No. 5 on the list, down from No. 2 last year.
Notable newcomers to Forbes' power list include Taylor Swift (No. 69), fellow country star Toby Keith (No. 59) and 30 Rock star Alec Baldwin (No. 91).
Meanwhile, Barack Obama (No. 49) became the first sitting head of state to appear on the list. The reason? His historic election made him the most famous person in the world, Forbes says, and also increased his book sales.

Kicking off the European leg of her Circus tour, Britney Spears adds sexy new costumes and remixed tracks to her set during a stop at London's O2 Arena on Wednesday. The pop star, who received mixed reviews for the performance, will remain in London for seven more shows before heading to Dublin, Paris and Scandinavia.
There were several new ensembles made for her European leg of the Circus Tour including new outfits for her songs: "Hot As Ice," "Breathe On Me/Touch Of My Hand," "Do Somethin'," "Baby One More Time," and an added pair of sunglasses and cowboy hat to her opening of "Circus."

New mother Melanie Chisholm was spotted making a rare trip out with baby Scarlett Starr yesterday.The Spice Girl carefully wheeled her three-month-old baby through London as she chatted with a friend.
Scarlett, who was born at London’s Portland Hospital on February 22, is the first child for the singer and her partner Thomas Starr.
Melanie fell pregnant just months after the Spice Girls reunion tour ended in 2008.
"Being backstage at the shows with the girls and all the kids made me think, "Yeah I could be a good mum," she has admitted.
She added: "I used to love the fact that I was the only Spice Girl who didn’t need to lug around loads of baby stuff. Mad, innit? Me, a mum."

Beyonce And Britney Headed For Dubai?
Beyonce, who was supposed to play Dubai earlier this year, is now tipped for October, while Britney looks set to head to the Middle East the month after, when she completes her European tour dates.A senior executive at AEG Live said Miss Spears would add the city at the end of her current tour, the Circus Tour Secrets.
“Bringing Britney Spears to Dubai will be a massive hit - we can see all the communities getting into it and the show being an unprecedented sell out,” said the source on condition of anonymity.
The executive said the organisers could not release an official statement until all of the show’s sponsors had been signed up.
“Britney is confirmed 100 per cent, it is just a matter of working out the finer details, getting all the promoters on board and happy.”
The official added: “An announcement will be made shortly. It’s imminent.”

Cher Goes Sue Crazy On Universal Music Group
Cher has sued Universal Music Group, claiming that the label's creative accounting has shortchanged her and the heirs of her late ex-husband Sonny Bono to the tune of $5 million.The lawsuit, filed Tuesday in Los Angeles Superior Court, claims an audit of UMG's accounting to the singer-actress from 2000 to 2003 showed that UMG execs "engaged in wrongful tactics" designed to hide revenue from two hit compilation albums.
The 5-count, 22-page complaint claims breach of two recording contracts Cher had with UMG predecessors, one with MCA division Kapp Records in 1972 and another 1987 deal with the David Geffen Company.
Cher claims that those deals entitled her and, in the case of the 1972 deal, Bono -- to receive up to 50% of net royalties received by UMG.
"Instead of reporting to and paying plaintiffs their share of the revenues generated by Warner UK, UMG Recordings, in an egregious example of self-dealing, apparently inserted Universal International as a middleman in the transaction ... for the sole purpose of diverting money that rightfully belonged to Plaitinffs to Universal International," the complaint says.
Cher also challenges accounting on a second compilation, 2002's "The Very Best of Cher." UMG allegedly allowed the album to be distributed by a division of Warner Music Group but accounted to Cher on a royalty basis as though UMG had sold the records itself, thus decreasing her share.
Cher also claims UMG improperly deducted $328,662 in television advertising expenses and a 6.5% service charge in reporting revenue from the 1999 greatest hits collection, and that more money is owed from 2004 through 2008. But she as not yet audited the label's books for those years.

LeAnn Rimes Accused of Being a "Stalker" by Eddie Cibrian's Wife
According to actor Eddie Cibrian's wife, Brandi Glanville, country singer LeAnn Rimes is a stalker!Eddie Cibrian cut ties with his Lifetime movie costar LeAnn Rimes two months ago, but his wife, Brandi Glanville, tells the new issue of Us Weekly that she can't let go of her obsession with him.
"LeAnn is a stalker," Glanville tells Us. "She refuses to leave us alone -- it is shameful and scary. People are going to say it takes two to tango and I get that, but at some point LeAnn needs to stop asking him to dance."
Glanville alleges that Rimes (who was caught on video sucking Cibrian's finger during a date) intentionally tracked down her husband at a L.A. Lakers game on May 17th, two weeks after he changed his phone number to end her "constant texting and calling."
Glanville says Rimes' motivation for her "disgusting" behavior is to get back in the limelight.
Adds Glanville, "She's hurting my family and messing with the wrong mom."
LA Reid Considered Dropping Amerie From Def Jam!
After a two-year hiatus, singer/songwriter Amerie has announced the release of her Def Jam debut, "In Love & War," which will be available in August. The lead single, "Why R U," will be serviced June 15th, with an accompanying video premiering June 8th on BET.Producers on the album include Teddy Riley, Sean Garrett, Eric Hudson, Jim Jonsin, Rico Love and The Buchanans, who helmed the first single -- the track that allegedly made Def Jam labelhead Antonio "L.A." Reid reconsider dropping Amerie from the label just last month.
"In Love & War" is the Washington DC-natives fourth album, and follows her Columbia records debut, "All I Have" and her Sony releases "Touch" and "Because I Love It," which was released in Europe.
"All I Have" sold 661,000 copies in the United States, according to Nielsen SoundScan, while "Touch" sold 406,000.
It's a little worrying to know that her place at Def Jam isn't as set as it was once thought. Sources initially indicated she was the label's priority and the budget for her release was major.

Brandy Settles Fatal Car Crash With Victim's Kids
Brandy has just reached a settlement with the kids whose mother died in the singer's 2006 car crash.Aboudihaj died in 2006 after her car was struck by Brandy's Range Rover near the interchange of the 405 and 101 freeways in Los Angeles.
Awatef Aboudihaj's two children will receive a total of $600,000 combined, according to court documents filed in L.A. County Superior Court.
However, their father has yet to settle with the singer, after rejecting a sum of 1.2 million dollars back in February.

Mariah Carey's new album titled "Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel" has got a release date. According to MTV Italy, the record will arrive on September 18th!However, it is unclear whether the date is set for a worldwide or just a European release.
Up to date, Mariah and her camp have neither confirmed nor denied the MTV Italy announcement. Aside from confirming to work with Timbaland last month, the singer also remains mum about who else expected to make contribution to the project.

Rumor: Rihanna Plans To Leak Chris Brown’s Nude Pictures?
Rihanna plans to leak Chris Brown’s nude pictures following her naked images which have been spread in Internet earlier this month. Although her allegedly abusive ex-boyfriend denied leaking the photos, the “Umbrella” songstress doesn’t seem to ignore it and is threatening to reveal Chris’ uncovered snaps in revenge.
“She says she’s going to release her own photos of Chris. She has less-than-flattering nude pics of him that she plans on leaking. Rihanna says he’ll be really embarrassed,” Rihanna’s pal said.
Not only pictures, Rihanna also reportedly plans to reveal Chris’ sexual performance to make him ashamed. Rihanna is already telling friends that Chris was a clumsy novice at lovemaking until “she taught him everything he knows.” The pal added, “She’s going to ruin his sexy image.”
Whether or not this is true, we kind of think Chris deserves whats coming to him anyways!

Trouble In J.Lo's Marriage???
Marc Anthony and Jennifer Lopez refuse to stop fighting, but they are doing their damndest to hold on to their marriage. Bossip source states: They’re continually having problems. She has put aside work for marriage and babies and Marc really prefers that because he’s very controlling.
Of course, she’s used to working a lot and wasn’t happy not being busy with music or film.
She’s just started filming again and it’s completely brightened her mood. But, now Marc is pissed that she’s not complying with his wishes. I’m not sure if it will last much longer at this rate.

Yahoo!’s Chart Watch has compiled a list of the 20 best selling artists of the current decade (2000’s). Britney Spears ranks at #5 on the overall list and is actually the #1 best selling female artist of the decade. Only one other solo female ranks on the list, Celine Dion at #20.
#5. Britney Spears, 22,937,000. First charted: 1999. Spears, 27, is the youngest artist on this list, edging out Josh Groban by one year. She is also #1 female artist in this decade.
Her 2000 album, Oops!…I Did It Again, is her best-seller of the decade. It has sold 9,183,000 copies. Spears was the #108 album-selling act of the ‘90s.

Just last night, Paris Hilton took her Alexander Wang to tape an appearance on David Letterman's show.Rihanna first wore this Alexander Wang strapless corset dress while visiting Kanye West in NYC about two weeks ago.
Both girls showed off their gams with nearly identical black platform pumps, but Rihanna accessorized the sexy frock with some sky-high hair and a sparkly silver purse.

Madonna Excited To End Her Sticky And Sweet Tour In Israel
Madonna will perform in Israel as part of her world "Sticky and Sweet" tour, it was officially announced on Monday.The Queen of Pop will give a single show on September 1 at Tel Aviv's Ganei Yehoshua to promote her latest album Hard Candy.
Tickets will go on sale on the Netvision Web site (www.013netvision.net.il) on June 3rd. Regular tickets will be priced at NIS 490, while tickets in two special VIP sections will be NIS 1,500-2,500.
A special stage will be built at the 66,000 capacity venue for Madonna and her 17 dancers, while British record producer and DJ Paul Oakenfold will be performing as a special guest.
"I'm very excited to return to Israel for my last show," said Madonna at a press conference Monday. "I know that it will be unforgettable."

Ciara took “Fantasy Ride” to Japan over the weekend, performing at the MTV Japan Video Music awards. Turning the tables with a sequin-esque’ outfit, Ciara slid across the same stage as Fergie and the Black Eyed Peas (we will have video for you shortly).
Both ladies looked absolutely stunning on the red carpet and also while performing on stage.

Mariah Plays Snippets From New Album On AT40
Over the weekend, Nick Cannon who filled in for regular host Ryan Seacrest on American Top 40 had his wife Mariah Carey on the phone for an interview. During the interview, Mariah played 2-second snippets of songs from her new album, Memoirs of An Imperfect Angel.
She says, "The name of the new album which I'm still finishing is Memoirs of An Imperfect Angel. It's basically every song tells its own little story for some people to relate to. I feel it's for everybody but in a lot of ways some of the songs are very woman empowerment moment.
"I tell stories so it's not just like, 'Okay, this is a real life moment' 'cause some of the people might be like, 'She really did that?' And it means nobody is perfect and nobody is an angel. We're just all regular human beings.
"Certainly I'm not perfect so I'm just telling things from my regular point of view like the perspective of a woman."

She may not be making Bündchen bucks just yet, but Miranda Kerr's latest modeling endeavor is definitely priceless.Orlando Bloom's babe abandons her bloomers—and everything else, for that matter—for the cover of Rolling Stone Australia's upcoming Green Issue.
The decision to pose in her birthday suit stems from a desire to raise awareness about the environment—most notably, the dangers faced by koalas.
"It's a sad thing. There are only about 100,000 koalas left in Australia," she tells the mag. "Something like 80 percent of the koalas' habitat has been destroyed since Europeans arrived in Australia."
Beautiful and furry-friend friendly? Looks like the tree isn't the only thing deserving of a hug.

While at Keyshia Cole's A Different Me tour, lovebirds Terius "The Dream" Nash and Christina Milian stated they're getting married and planning to have an engagement party in the Bahamas.Keyshia told us backstage that she wanted to give The Dream and Christina a shout-out during her performance, but she wanted to let them say it first. Well, they've said it, so it's official.
