Mariah's Broadway Musical?!?!

Mariah's life has had as many highs and lows as her incredible voice, so it should come as no surprise to learn that Mariah Carey's story is to be turned into a Broadway musical.

The scale-hopping diva, happily married to 27-year-old Nick Cannon, has experienced personal and professional triumphs and traumas since finding fame in 1990.

A so-called fairytale marriage to former Sony boss Tommy Mottola and subsequent divorce, troubled times with record labels, reports of a breakdown, forays into acting and her romance with toyboy Cannon would be enough to keep lyricists scribbling for months, and it would seem this is about to become a reality.

"A huge, huge Broadway producer is interested in Mariah's story and it's in discussions," says a source close to the 39-year-old star.

"Who would turn down an opportunity like that? Mariah has had a fascinating life."

    You have to be COMPLETELY FUCKING CLUELESS if that's all you know about Mariah Carey. There was life BEFORE the record deal and the things that happened off camera that you don't know about.

    Do you think Johnny Cash was just some drug addict who played the guitar? There's more to his life than that.
